Notes for JAMES MERRILL:

James Merrell went to Monroe County, Mississippi with family in 1820 (including his father, John Merrell) according to William Ernest Merrill's book ; however , William Washington Merrell's notes say that James went to Kentucky in 1810 with his oldest brother John. Maybe both statements are true. The Monroe County, Mississippi, move is definite.
